Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Daniel Arsham could be acquired at Christies in Hong Kong in April last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the No Regrets: 20/21 Art Online: All Editions auction, the work Blue Crystalized Pikachu changed hands for HKD 20,160.00 (€ 2,437.49) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Daniel Arsham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Quartz Eroded Vogue Magazine 101 in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 2,312,500.00 (€ 268,207.19).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Daniel Arsham konnte im April letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion No Regrets: 20/21 Art Online: All Editions wechselte die Arbeit Blue Crystalized Pikachu für HKD 20.160,00 (€ 2.437,49) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Daniel Arsham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Quartz Eroded Vogue Magazine 101 im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.312.500,00 (€ 268.207,19).
