In May 2016 Christies in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Works on Paper, which included the work Etude pour Vue des Pavillons vers la mer by Édouard Vuillard. The result of USD 50,000.00 (€ 44,903.46) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Édouard Vuillard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Misia et Vallotton à Villeneuve in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 17,750,000.00 (€ 14,918,473.69).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Etude pour Vue des Pavillons vers la mer von Édouard Vuillard zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 44.903,46) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Édouard Vuillard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Misia et Vallotton à Villeneuve im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.750.000,00 (€ 14.918.473,69).
