Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Eduardo Arroyo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in December 2010. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Velasquez Mon Père sold for EUR 78,750.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Eduardo Arroyo; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot La Perquisition De St Sebastian sold at auction in December 2007 with the realized price of EUR 96,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Eduardo Arroyo erzielte im Dezember 2010 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Velasquez Mon Père für EUR 78.750,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 30.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Eduardo Arroyo; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit La Perquisition De St Sebastian im Dezember 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 96.250,00.
