Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Edvard Munch achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in July 2021. In the Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale auction, the work Stående kvinne med hatt (Lali Horstmann) sold for GBP 81,250.00 (€ 95,282.47) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edvard Munch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Scream in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 119,922,500.00 (€ 96,993,286.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Edvard Munch erzielte im Juli 2021 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale wurde die Arbeit Stående kvinne med hatt (Lali Horstmann) für GBP 81.250,00 (€ 95.282,47) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edvard Munch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Scream im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 119.922.500,00 (€ 96.993.286,96).
