Auction result well in line with expectations
In September last year Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Two works: (i) Creep 2; (ii) Crazy Quilt by Eileen Quinlan. The price achieved of USD 5,292.00 (€ 5,409.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Eileen Quinlan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2021 the work Venus Mount, 2020 was auctioned for USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,390.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September letzten Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two works: (i) Creep 2; (ii) Crazy Quilt von Eileen Quinlan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.292,00 (€ 5.409,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Eileen Quinlan konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2021 die Arbeit Venus Mount, 2020 für USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.390,69) versteigert.
