It achieved a price of USD 688.00 (€ 600.56), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Enzo Cucchi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Quadro Santo in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 568,000.00 (€ 821,886.53).

Die Arbeit Carro Celeste from For Joseph Beuys von Enzo Cucchi kam im Dezember 2018 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 688,00 (€ 600,56) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Enzo Cucchi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Quadro Santo im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 568.000,00 (€ 821.886,53).
