Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Erich Heckel could be acquired at Christies in New York in May this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper Sale auction, the work Kleiner See changed hands for USD 5,040.00 (€ 4,730.62) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Erich Heckel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blühende Apfelbäume in February 2018 with an auction result of GBP 1,508,750.00 (€ 1,704,340.14).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Erich Heckel konnte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper Sale wechselte die Arbeit Kleiner See für USD 5.040,00 (€ 4.730,62) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Erich Heckel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blühende Apfelbäume im Februar 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.508.750,00 (€ 1.704.340,14).
