Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Roll the Barrel by Erik Parker was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in September 2021. The price achieved of USD 52,920.00 (€ 45,711.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Erik Parker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Big Time in May last year with an auction result of HKD 3,654,000.00 (€ 433,808.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Roll the Barrel von Erik Parker wurde im September 2021 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 52.920,00 (€ 45.711,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Erik Parker auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Big Time im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.654.000,00 (€ 433.808,22).
