In February 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Le Retour De Pêche Au Croisic by Ferdinand Loyen du Puigaudeau. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 65,000.00 (€ 75,824.76), 30% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ferdinand Loyen du Puigaudeau - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Venise, Le Palais Des Doges, which sold at auction in May 2014 for USD 269,000.00 (€ 197,214.08).
