Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 10 Modernist Nudes, 2003 by František Drtikol was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in November 2019. The price achieved of EUR 8,125.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by František Drtikol achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Temná vlna (The Dark Wave), 1926 in April last year with an auction result of USD 352,800.00 (€ 334,820.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 10 Modernist Nudes, 2003 von František Drtikol kam im November 2019 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 8.125,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von František Drtikol erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Temná vlna (The Dark Wave), 1926 im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 352.800,00 (€ 334.820,16).
