This artwork by Fumie Sasabuchi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in August 2020. In the Contemporary Art| London auction, the work O.T. sold for GBP 756.00 (€ 847.14) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 300.00. Admittedly, works by Fumie Sasabuchi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in February 2013 with an auction result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,807.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fumie Sasabuchi erzielte im August 2020 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art| London wurde die Arbeit O.T. für GBP 756,00 (€ 847,14) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 300,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fumie Sasabuchi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Februar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.807,78).
