Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Woman with a Cigar by GaHee Park was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 441,000.00 (€ 52,858.74) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 250,000.00 – 450,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by GaHee Park - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life with Fish, which sold at auction in March last year for USD 126,000.00 (€ 113,585.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Woman with a Cigar von GaHee Park kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 441.000,00 (€ 52.858,74) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 250.000,00 – 450.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von GaHee Park mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still Life with Fish beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für USD 126.000,00 (€ 113.585,14) versteigert wurde.
