Auction result well in line with expectations
In September this year Phillips in London held the auction Evening & Day Editions, which included the work Tipsy Lovers by GaHee Park. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,016.00 (€ 1,016.00) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by GaHee Park achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life with Fish in March last year with an auction result of USD 126,000.00 (€ 113,585.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion Evening & Day Editions durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tipsy Lovers von GaHee Park zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.016,00 (€ 1.016,00) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von GaHee Park erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life with Fish im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 126.000,00 (€ 113.585,14).
