Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Allotment by Gary Bunt was auctioned at Sothebys in London in September 2016. It achieved a price of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,857.41), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gary Bunt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Reminisce, which sold at auction in March last year for GBP 25,200.00 (€ 29,877.44).

Die Arbeit The Allotment von Gary Bunt kam im September 2016 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.857,41) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Für andere Arbeiten von Gary Bunt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Reminisce beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für GBP 25.200,00 (€ 29.877,44) versteigert wurde.
