Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Things are Exactly as they Seem by Ged Quinn was auctioned at Phillips in London in October 2012. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 91,250.00 (€ 113,453.37). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ged Quinn - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Gone to Yours, which sold at auction in February 2011 for GBP 193,250.00 (€ 227,632.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Things are Exactly as they Seem von Ged Quinn kam im Oktober 2012 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 91.250,00 (€ 113.453,37) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ged Quinn mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Gone to Yours beobachtet, die im Februar 2011 für GBP 193.250,00 (€ 227.632,33) versteigert wurde.
