Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Collection Arthur Brandt : Dada, Surréalisme et au-delà, which included the work Collage Original by Georges Hugnet. The price achieved of EUR 4,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Georges Hugnet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Prints Of Joan Miró in February 2021 with an auction result of EUR 47,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Collection Arthur Brandt : Dada, Surréalisme et au-delà durch, in der auch die Arbeit Collage Original von Georges Hugnet zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Georges Hugnet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Prints Of Joan Miró im Februar 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 47.500,00.
