Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Gérard Ernest Schneider. The price achieved of EUR 1,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gérard Ernest Schneider achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Opus 375 in October this year with an auction result of EUR 289,800.00.
