Despite a disappointment, a good price for Gilles Larrain
In November 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Séance de Pose by Gilles Larrain for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,619.62). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Séance de Pose is the most expensive artwork by Gilles Larrain that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Gilles Larrain
Im November 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Séance de Pose von Gilles Larrain für GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.619,62) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist Séance de Pose das teuerste Kunstwerk von Gilles Larrain, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
