This artwork by Gino Severini achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in July 2021. In the Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale auction, the work Campagna sold for GBP 32,500.00 (€ 38,112.99) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gino Severini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Danseuse in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 15,049,250.00 (€ 19,022,756.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 81 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gino Severini erzielte im Juli 2021 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale wurde die Arbeit Campagna für GBP 32.500,00 (€ 38.112,99) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gino Severini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Danseuse im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.049.250,00 (€ 19.022.756,57).
