Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 14 Bars by Giuseppe Uncini was sold in the First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online auction at Christies in London in October 2020. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,776.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giuseppe Uncini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cementarmato (Reinforced Concrete) in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 278,500.00 (€ 389,551.94).

Die Arbeit 14 Bars von Giuseppe Uncini wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.776,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giuseppe Uncini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cementarmato (Reinforced Concrete) im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 278.500,00 (€ 389.551,94).
