It achieved a price of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 17,484.38), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Grear Patterson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pants On Fire, which sold at auction in May 2015 for USD 40,000.00 (€ 36,383.48).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 17.484,38) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Für andere Arbeiten von Grear Patterson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pants On Fire beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für USD 40.000,00 (€ 36.383,48) versteigert wurde.
