Upper estimate price exceeded by 25%
The work Der Jahresablauf by Hannah Höch was auctioned at Christies in London in July last year. It achieved a price of GBP 187,500 (€ 219,883), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Admittedly, works by Hannah Höch have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Frau und Saturn in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 1,085,000 (€ 1,235,613).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25% übertroffen
Die Arbeit Der Jahresablauf von Hannah Höch kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 187.500 (€ 219.883) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hannah Höch auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Frau und Saturn im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.085.000 (€ 1.235.613).
