This artwork by Henk Chabot achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2006. In the 20th Century Art auction, the work Winter Landscape - Paysage D'Hiver II sold for EUR 28,800.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 16,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Henk Chabot; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Dutch Landschap sold at auction in June 2008 with the realized price of EUR 34,350.00.

Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Henk Chabot; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Dutch Landschap im Juni 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 34.350,00.
