In April 2019 Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Tucson, Arizona by Henry Wessel. The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,250.00 (€ 10,043.75), 41% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Henry Wessel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Icons Portfolio in November 2010 with an auction result of GBP 44,450.00 (€ 53,117.68).

Im April 2019 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tucson, Arizona von Henry Wessel zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 10.043,75) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henry Wessel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Icons Portfolio im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 44.450,00 (€ 53.117,68).
