Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Christies in New York held the auction No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online, which included the work Transmission by Hiroyuki Matsuura. The price achieved of HKD 201,600.00 (€ 24,379.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 260,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hiroyuki Matsuura have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Akatsuki in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 2,647,500.00 (€ 217,959.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Transmission von Hiroyuki Matsuura zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 201.600,00 (€ 24.379,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 260.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hiroyuki Matsuura auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Akatsuki im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.647.500,00 (€ 217.959,35).
