Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year Christies in New York held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Femme et oiseaux by Joan Miró. The price achieved of USD 50,400.00 (€ 47,306.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Miró achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peinture (Étoile Bleue) in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,561,250.00 (€ 29,174,436.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Femme et oiseaux von Joan Miró zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 50.400,00 (€ 47.306,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Miró erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peinture (Étoile Bleue) im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.561.250,00 (€ 29.174.436,97).
