Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Figures Et Chien by Joan Miró for USD 242,500.00 (€ 191,035.13). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale including Important Russian Paintings at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Miró achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peinture (Étoile Bleue) in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,561,250.00 (€ 29,174,436.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Figures Et Chien von Joan Miró für USD 242.500,00 (€ 191.035,13) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale including Important Russian Paintings bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Miró erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peinture (Étoile Bleue) im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.561.250,00 (€ 29.174.436,97).
