Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of Annie de Roos by John Rädecker was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2000. The price achieved of NLG 23,404.00 (€ 9,986.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as NLG 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by John Rädecker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grote Kop - Big Head in June 2000 with an auction result of NLG 351,060.00 (€ 149,802.76).

Die Arbeit Portrait of Annie de Roos von John Rädecker kam im Juni 2000 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von NLG 23.404,00 (€ 9.986,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit NLG 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von John Rädecker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grote Kop - Big Head im Juni 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 351.060,00 (€ 149.802,76).
