Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Konnex 5 Horizonte / Konnex 5 Horizons by Jorinde Voigt. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 15,120.00 (€ 17,913.12) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Jorinde Voigt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work „Perm I“, „Perm II“, „Perm III“ in July 2020 with an auction result of EUR 175,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Konnex 5 Horizonte / Konnex 5 Horizons von Jorinde Voigt zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 15.120,00 (€ 17.913,12) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jorinde Voigt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit „Perm I“, „Perm II“, „Perm III“ im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 175.000,00.
