Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Landscape, 1969 by Josef Sudek for GBP 1,750.00 (€ 2,450.45). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Josef Sudek achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans Titre (Étude De Nature-Morte), 1952 in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 300,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Landscape, 1969 von Josef Sudek für GBP 1.750,00 (€ 2.450,45) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Josef Sudek erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans Titre (Étude De Nature-Morte), 1952 im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 300.750,00.
