The »bidding war« ended at GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,082.20), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julius LeBlanc Stewart achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Five O'Clock Tea in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 1,880,000.00 (€ 1,686,249.89).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.082,20) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Julius LeBlanc Stewart erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Five O'Clock Tea im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.880.000,00 (€ 1.686.249,89).
