Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Julius LeBlanc Stewart could be acquired at Sothebys in London in February 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Erotic: Passion & Desire auction, the work Before The Fire changed hands for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 32,185.20) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julius LeBlanc Stewart achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Five O'Clock Tea in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 1,880,000.00 (€ 1,686,249.89).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Julius LeBlanc Stewart konnte im Februar 2017 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Erotic: Passion & Desire wechselte die Arbeit Before The Fire für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 32.185,20) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00.
