The result of SEK 15,000.00 (€ 1,730.59) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 15,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Karin Mamma Andersson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work On Tenterhooks in March this year with an auction result of GBP 756,000.00 (€ 860,096.03).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit "Only the nights are new" von Karin Mamma Andersson kam im November 2012 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 15.000,00 (€ 1.730,59) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 15.000,00 – 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Karin Mamma Andersson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit On Tenterhooks im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 756.000,00 (€ 860.096,03).
