Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Rains by Kenneth Noland was auctioned at Christies in Paris in December 2017. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 22,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kenneth Noland achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rocker in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 4,255,000.00 (€ 3,489,421.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Rains von Kenneth Noland kam im Dezember 2017 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 22.500,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kenneth Noland erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rocker im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.255.000,00 (€ 3.489.421,03).
