Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2000 Christies in London held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work This Girl Bends by Kerry Stewart. The price achieved of GBP 5,875.00 (€ 9,312.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by Kerry Stewart have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2001 the work Sleeping Nun was auctioned for GBP 7,637.50 (€ 11,966.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit This Girl Bends von Kerry Stewart zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.875,00 (€ 9.312,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Kerry Stewart konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar 2001 die Arbeit Sleeping Nun für GBP 7.637,50 (€ 11.966,14) versteigert.
