Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Unknown by Kikukawa Eizan was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2005. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,680.00 (€ 1,393.27). Admittedly, works by Kikukawa Eizan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Haru no raku (Spring pleasures) in March 2007 with an auction result of USD 13,200.00 (€ 9,869.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Unknown von Kikukawa Eizan kam im September 2005 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.680,00 (€ 1.393,27) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kikukawa Eizan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Haru no raku (Spring pleasures) im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 13.200,00 (€ 9.869,90).
