Auction result well in line with expectations
The work „Sitzende Dame im Korbstuhl“. by Koloman Moser was auctioned at Grisebach in July 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 81,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Koloman Moser have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le choc des Titans in April last year with an auction result of EUR 384,300.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit „Sitzende Dame im Korbstuhl“. von Koloman Moser kam im Juli 2020 bei Grisebach zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 81.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Koloman Moser auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le choc des Titans im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 384.300,00.
