This price was achieved in the auction Grafik & Multiples at Koller and was even below the estimate range of CHF 2,500.00 – 3,500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Kurt Laurenz Metzler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Strassenpaar. in June 2006 with an auction result of CHF 14,280.00 (€ 9,124.05).

Im Juni 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Strassenmann. 1982. von Kurt Laurenz Metzler für CHF 2.142,00 (€ 1.368,61) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Grafik & Multiples bei Koller erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von CHF 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kurt Laurenz Metzler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Strassenpaar. im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 14.280,00 (€ 9.124,05).
