This artwork by László Moholy-Nagy achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in November 2021. In the Impressionist and Modern Art Works on Paper Sale auction, the work Untitled (Composition, Yellow-Black) sold for USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,364.31) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by László Moholy-Nagy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Em 1 Telephonbild (Em 1 Telephone Picture) in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 6,087,500.00 (€ 5,754,868.60).

Dieses Kunstwerk von László Moholy-Nagy erzielte im November 2021 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Works on Paper Sale wurde die Arbeit Untitled (Composition, Yellow-Black) für USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.364,31) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von László Moholy-Nagy erzielen.
