Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Correspondence by Lee Ufan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 2,875,000.00 (€ 303,909.71), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 15%. Admittedly, works by Lee Ufan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work From Line, No. 760219 in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 2,165,000.00 (€ 1,740,633.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Correspondence von Lee Ufan kam im Mai 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 2.875.000,00 (€ 303.909,71) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 15%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Lee Ufan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit From Line, No. 760219 im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.165.000,00 (€ 1.740.633,54).
