Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Legion 2000 by Lee Wagstaff was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2002. The price achieved of GBP 5,405.00 (€ 8,820.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Lee Wagstaff have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2016 the work Baptism, 2000 was auctioned for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,223.65).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.405,00 (€ 8.820,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Lee Wagstaff konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2016 die Arbeit Baptism, 2000 für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.223,65) versteigert.
