Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Bonhams held the auction POP X Culture, which included the work Head Space, 2023 by Lhouette. The price achieved of GBP 8,960.00 (€ 10,288.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Lhouette - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Knight Nurse, which sold at auction in July 2020 for GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,251.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion POP X Culture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Head Space, 2023 von Lhouette zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.960,00 (€ 10.288,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Lhouette mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Knight Nurse beobachtet, die im Juli 2020 für GBP 32.500,00 (€ 36.251,27) versteigert wurde.
