Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Obispo by Manolo Valdés was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in December 2011. The price achieved of EUR 84,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Admittedly, works by Manolo Valdés have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Infanta Margarita in February 2011 with an auction result of GBP 457,250.00 (€ 538,602.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Obispo von Manolo Valdés kam im Dezember 2011 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 84.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 70.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Manolo Valdés auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Infanta Margarita im Februar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 457.250,00 (€ 538.602,24).
