Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2015 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Evening Sale, which included the work Bouquet près de la fenêtre by Marc Chagall. The price achieved of GBP 3,218,500.00 (€ 4,538,044.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500,000.00 – 3,500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marc Chagall have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Les Amoureux in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 28,453,000.00 (€ 23,914,103.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bouquet près de la fenêtre von Marc Chagall zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.218.500,00 (€ 4.538.044,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500.000,00 – 3.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marc Chagall auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Les Amoureux im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.453.000,00 (€ 23.914.103,21).
