In November 2017 Christies in New York held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Works on Paper Sale, which included the work Lune rousse au Cap d'Antibes by Marc Chagall. The »bidding war« ended at USD 732,500.00 (€ 615,649.69), 63% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marc Chagall achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Amoureux in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 28,453,000.00 (€ 23,914,103.21).

Im November 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Works on Paper Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lune rousse au Cap d'Antibes von Marc Chagall zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 732.500,00 (€ 615.649,69) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marc Chagall erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Amoureux im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.453.000,00 (€ 23.914.103,21).
