This artwork by María Blanchard achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in May 2006. In the Art Impressionniste et Moderne auction, the work L'Enfant Au Chapeau sold for EUR 90,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by María Blanchard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Joueur De Luth in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 457,250.00 (€ 566,184.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 80 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von María Blanchard erzielte im Mai 2006 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art Impressionniste et Moderne wurde die Arbeit L'Enfant Au Chapeau für EUR 90.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von María Blanchard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Joueur De Luth im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 457.250,00 (€ 566.184,36).
