Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by María Blanchard could be acquired at Sothebys in London in February 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, auction, the work Jeune Fille changed hands for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,526.30) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by María Blanchard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Joueur De Luth in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 457,250.00 (€ 566,184.36).

Dieses Kunstwerk von María Blanchard konnte im Februar 2020 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, wechselte die Arbeit Jeune Fille für GBP 23.750,00 (€ 27.526,30) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von María Blanchard erzielen.
