Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2017 Christies in Paris held the auction Art Contemporain Vente du jour, which included the work Confessions of Solitude by Marius Bercea. The price achieved of EUR 12,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marius Bercea - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sundown, which sold at auction in October 2014 for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 28,729.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2017 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Art Contemporain Vente du jour durch, in der auch die Arbeit Confessions of Solitude von Marius Bercea zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 12.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Marius Bercea mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sundown beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für GBP 22.500,00 (€ 28.729,25) versteigert wurde.
