Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 45,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 51,650.00 (€ 60,839.38). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maurice Utrillo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Paravent De Maurice Utrillo, 1939 in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 835,540.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit La Tour Eiffel à Paris sous la neige von Maurice Utrillo kam im Februar 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 45.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 51.650,00 (€ 60.839,38) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maurice Utrillo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Paravent De Maurice Utrillo, 1939 im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 835.540,00.
