The work Paysage de Saint-Tropez by Moïse Kisling was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in March last year. It achieved a price of EUR 75,600.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 68 %. Admittedly, works by Moïse Kisling have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Course de taureaux in June this year with an auction result of GBP 472,500.00 (€ 549,908.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 68 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Paysage de Saint-Tropez von Moïse Kisling kam im März letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 75.600,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 68 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Moïse Kisling auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Course de taureaux im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 472.500,00 (€ 549.908,65).
